Brigg Heritage Centre is privileged to be the custodian of The Buttercross, located in the Market Place within the heart of Brigg.

 

An elegantly proportioned upper level regency styled room leading off a impressive sweeping staircase overlooking the historic Market Place of Brigg. Licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, The Buttercross is a unique venue for those special occasions, celebrations and events (maximum capacity 60 / accessible lift). Our season charging periods fun from March to February.

The wedding fixed price package for up to

30 guests: £440.00* - Fees payable in full at time of booking for current season

 

*Deposit proportion:

£100.00 of your fee represents the deposit proportion. Deposit proportion is non-refundable (if you cancel after 30 day grace period).

Package inclusive of:

• Ceremonial venue 

• Chair covers with sash
 (choose from our 'classic collection' - up to 30 max)

• Pair of illuminated topiary trees

• Red carpet

• Sound/music

Decorative Option Supplements / Extras & add-on options:

• Chairs covers with sash £2.00 each

• Additional sashes £1.00 each

• Illuminated Topiary Tree Pair £20.00

• Post-Ceremony glass/pour £20.00

Deposit for future seasons:

In order to secure your date for upcoming future seasons, a deposit of £100.00 is required. Deposits are non-refundable (if you cancel after 30 day grace period) however the deposit paid is offset against any remaining balance. Once season prices are announced you will be notified of your balance due.

Post- Ceremony Receptions:

• From £220.00 - party until midnight

Have you considered having your reception at The Buttercross too? 

 

We can arrange the room to be repurposed while you have your photographs taken and your guests partake in a beverage in one of Brigg's fine hostelries (approx 1 to 1.5 hours turnaround time). We will reset the room which will allow you to celebrate until midnight. You can arrange your own caterers and entertainment. Alcohol consumption is permitted as part of your celebratory hire as long as alcohol is not sold.
