Interested in Volunteering?

Do you like meeting new people?

Do you have an interest in history and heritage?

Then you may just be the sort of person we need as a volunteer at the Heritage Centre.  Our volunteers are the life blood of the Centre and support us with the vast enthusiasm, experience, knowledge and range of skills they bring with them. Many go on to develop new interests and skills while volunteering with us.

The Ancholme Valley Heritage Trust is a charity and, apart from one member of staff, is run totally by volunteers. Your support and help is therefore vital to our survival.

If you are willing to give us a little of your time to support your community, please let us know by either calling in for an informal chat or ringing Robert Jackson, the Heritage Centre Manager on 01724 296771, Alternatively you can complete the form below and we will be delighted to send you details of how just a little of your time can make a real difference to our popular and expanding visitor attraction.

We look forward to welcoming you !

We also welcome college students who are looking for work experience in an environment where they can extend their communication skills, meeting members of the public.

A flair for tourism, art, design and working with both adults and children could be used gainfully in this workplace to enhance their future studies in their college careers.
