Bear with us - a 'little' announcement...

While we are working behind the scenes, following the reallocation of our fundraising venue, we have hidden our Room Rentals, Celebrations and Ceremony/Weddings pages.

We hope to be back up and running soon with reviewed information and our 'back-room' systems in place. We will be launching 'Heritage Spaces' at the Angel Suite in Brigg as soon as we are able. We hope to relaunch our weddings from mid-July 2026. Please be patient with us, as a charity - we are processing a great deal and we need a little breathing space to ensure what we are doing behind the scenes promotes a viable future for The Ancholme Valley Heritage Trust and Brigg Heritage Centre!

Please do not worry if you have something booked in with us - all these are going ahead as scheduled while we expand, process, inherit and ultimately, reset!

A 'raft' of adventure...

Brigg Heritage Centre is situated in the heart of Brigg, within the beautiful, iconic and historic Angel building (1st floor).

Our star exhibit, the Bronze Age Raft (known as the 'Brigg Raft' - which dates back to 800BC), was excavated from the River Ancholme, and sets the scene for a fascinating journey, charting the rise of Brigg as an important and influential market place, through to the picturesque town we know today.

At the heart of all we do is education, with children crafts, POP-UP exhibitions, talks and events... there is always something new!

Many visitors have already experienced our inspiring displays!

The Angel Building is host to:

  • Brigg Heritage Centre

  • Community Hub/Library

  • Brigg Town Council

  • ATRIUM Café
